Additional funds were requested from the Government of
Albania under the Operational Guidelines for Expedited
Financing of Climate Change Enabling Activities (EA) -
Phase II. The components of the
project
were:
-
To maintain and enhance national capacities who
prepared National Communication;
-
To ensure a continuity and improvement of this
process;
-
To raise public awareness regarding climate change
issues.
Additional activities were undertaken to meet the
country's needs to build capacities for identification
and assessment of technologies for abatement of GHGs
and adaptation to the expected climate change.
A National
Report on
Technology
Needs Assessment is completed.
