01 December 2006 - Hands-on training workshop on
GHG abatement analysis under the Second National
Communication Project was organized by Climate Change
Program.
The training aimed to providing the national experts
involved under Climate Change Program activities,
specifically those engaged under the GHG inventory and
abatement analysis to be carried out under the SNC
exercise with an overview of the work carried out so far
under that component in the frame of the previous and
current activities specifically with the work to be done
under the SNC exercise.
Specifically the training was the hands-on type and
aimed at providing the basic requirements under the
relevant decisions of the CoP of the UNFCCC (17/CP8) for
the GHG abatement under the National Communications from
Non Annex 1 Parties and the software needed / to be
applied, data to be collected and the expected
outputs/outcomes by the end of this exercise.
