– At the occasion of the UN Poverty Week, UNDP/GEF
Climate Change Programme in collaboration with the
Ministry of Environment, Forests and Water
Administration and the SOS - “Hermann Gmeiner” School
have organized a series of awareness raising activities
with the kids of the SOS -“Hermann Gmeiner” School on
climate change issue such as lectures, video show,
distribution of posters and promotional materials, which
have concluded with a exhibition of paintings made by
the school kids on the theme: /"This is my contribution
against climate change"/.
The exhibition which gathered and showed 48 paintings
form the kids of this school was launched yesterday on
23 October, 2007 at 17.00 p.m in the premises of the SOS
- “Hermann Gmeiner” school. Mr. Lufter Xhuveli, the
Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Forests and
Water Administration and , Ms. Gulden Turkoz Cosslett,
the UN Res. Coordinator & UNDP Resident Representative
joined the kids, their teachers and their parents who
were invited to such an event.
